Chosen Solution My controller has a jdm 055 motherboard and I don’t succefully find one on internet (out of stock). Can I put another JDM motherboard in remplacement like a JDM 50 or JDM 40 maybe ? Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro 17" that will start up, but it gets half way thru the start up screen and then it quits. Don’t know why it will not go beyond that. Chosen Solution The data/charging port on this phone does not work any longer and I was wondering if anybody has successfully replaced it and if there is a guide available? @detkoehle the connector is soldered to the motherboard. Use this guide to remove the board. Then you will have to unsolder the old connector to replace it with a new one. There are no specific guides as of yet. Try to check some youtube videos on charging port repair so you can see how it gets done in general....

After reassembly, however, the CPU fan was running at a constant full speed. After running Apple Hardware Test, the error code returned was 4SNS/1/C0000008 TCOH– 124. Per the popular CNET article, this is the CPU temperature sensor. According to Macs Fan Control, the sensor was still reading accurately (it seems), with idle temperatures around 33 C and loaded temperatures not getting above 40 C....
