Chosen Solution I already unhooked the CMOS battery and that didn’t work Its later than 2004 so I didn’t try the jumpers. What do I do? When you removed the cmos battery did you leave it out and hold the power button down for about 60 seconds if not try that and if all else fails remove the battery unplug it then remove the cmos battery and let it sit like that for 5 days this will bleed all power from the board ....

The screen can be replaced and the casing can be bent back into shape, but that’s assuming there was no other damage done when the casing bent. HP is notorious for making some …. interesting products. You can clean the head with rubbing alcohol and try putting the cartridge back in. That might work for ya. Best of luck! Chosen Solution I’m trying to work out what this capacitor is as it looks like it’s blown. Basically the laptop was restarted and I heard a electrical noise for a brief second. When plugging in the device to the charger the charging light comes on but the battery never gets fully charged as the light remains on orange.
