Disconnect the power cord Remove the battery Hold down the power button for 30 seconds, then release for 30 sec and then hold down for another 30sec Plug in power; replace battery and power on laptop. Chosen Solution Help … anyone. My Mac Book won’t turn on. It was literally working fine one day. I shut it down and the next time I went to turn it on, it wouldn’t. Chosen Solution Last winter this iMac was dropped and the logic board was damaged, I changed it and it worked. Early on I replaced the HD with a 3TB one (so had to install HDD Fan Control) and the optical drive with an SSD. In the very beginning, before closing it up after the logic board replacement, I noticed problems with the graphics card, it would show artifacts then freeze rather quickly, but tests showed one of the fans was not spinning right, so I changed it and it worked perfectly for about 10 months....

Chosen Solution Guys, I’ve opened up my laptop for a repair and noticed the fans are horrendous and covered in dust. Before going in there with my Dyson vacuum cleaner, what tool do you recommend for sucking the dirt away and minimise spreading anywhere else during cleaning? Cheers! What I do is I use canned air, and at least partially disassemble the computer to the point I have good fan access to get rid of the majority of the dust, just to make things easy for ones which aren’t too far in the dusty range disassembly is justified....

Chosen Solution After cleaning my laptop, I restarted the device and the screen went completely black and has not returned. Help? Plug your laptop in to make sure the battery isn’t just dead first. I’m assuming that there is still internal sounds coming from the laptop, so hold the power button until the laptop shuts off completely. This should fix your problem. Chosen Solution Both front and back cameras are not functioning at all, with 3uTools reporting that both have abnormalities, and so does the flash. Weirdly enough the ambient light sensor still works just fine, but that’s about it. This has been dropped, so I was wondering what could be causing the issue? Sometimes if one camera has been damaged it can cause both to stop functioning. I would suggest disconnecting one at a time and see what the result is....

When the lifetime of the flash is close to being used up, this is a safety feature to preserve the data as reading doesn’t do much harm to the card, if any at all....

Chosen Solution I have a late 2012 27" A1419 slim iMac and the glass is broken and cracked. The lcd itself is fine but understand you have to replace the whole display. My question is after searching eBay etc I have found that this one for example: iMac A1419 LM270QQ1(SD)(A2) IPS Retina 5K Display LCD Screen Late 2014 seems to be cheaper than the standard screen for my iMac. So would love to know if these retina 5k displays would fit my late 2012 A1419 iMac....

The logic board has the SSD “Blade” slot or whatever its called. I was hoping for a 2TB SSD Blade but owc only has 1TB.
