Chosen Solution I damaged my keyboard some weeks ago when cleaning (foolishly used a wet wipe rather than an alcohol wipe and damaged some keys). I used the computer for weeks with an external keyboard and during that time the battery and charging circuit worked fine. I then completed an upper case replacement and got the internal keyboard working fine. But now the MagSafe light is very dim and the battery will no longer charge....
Chosen Solution When I plug it in, it recognizes it’s plugged in, says it’s charging, has the lightning bolt by the battery, but doesn’t actually charge. The battery life slowly goes down like it’s not even plugged in. This iPhone was water damaged, but I dried it with silica gel and got it to boot up again. I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol, swapped out the battery and dock connector with tested working replacements, but the problem still persists....
Chosen Solution I replaced the broken screen/lcd on my wife’s phone and it all works fine except the battery will not charge. the charging symbol comes on and the phone beeps when you plug in the charger connector. the battery was perfect prior to the screen repair. I cleaned as i reinstalled with IPA on all the electrical contact points. Try reseating the battery cable, then cleaning and reseating the charging dock connector and cable as well....
Chosen Solution One day, I was using my keyboard when the number 2 key was clicking weird, so I decided to take off the key cap to clean it out to stop this, but when doing so the entire mechanism came off. Is this covered by warranty? What should I do to get this repaired? Chosen Solution Ok. So I did a really stupid thing and thought the connectors were like iPhones and pry’d the lcd connector off logic board. Do I need to buy another logic board or is this an easy fix? Fixing that would definitely require microsoldering. I’m not a soldering expert, so I can’t really say whether or not there’s damage to the solder pads themselves which would cause a bigger issue repairing them, but even best-case only the connector needs to be replaced, that’ll still typically cost you $90-$150 or so from a microsoldering company....
Chosen Solution My TI 84 + CE got a bunch of dead or broken pixels on the side of the screen a while ago that obstructed numbers and menus. I looked it up and another person asked the same thing, but was told that it’s unfixable. I kept looking and found that a few solutions that helped. After a while of tapping and trying to use the calculator normally the screen eventually cleared up and the dead/broken pixels were reduced to a tiny bit in the top left corner that obstructed almost nothing....
Chosen Solution hey, i heard that is technically posible to upgrade my graphics, even tho it depends on the model and the vbios of the card (i’ve heard that the alienware’s vbios works on imacs), i also found an mxm gtx 770m for an alienware (here: https://www.ebay.com/itm/DELL-ALIENWARE-…) and i’m thinking of installing it (it’s also pretty cheap). What do you think? I wouldn’t even try… The boards firmware needs to have the Apple version so unless you have access to the correct firmware and have the tools to flash it to the board, it won’t work....

Chosen Solution I was going to replace the right side fan but noticed there was tons of dust blocking the vents. I want to test the old fan while the computer is apart to see if I should even replace it. Is this ok to do. My keyboard ribbon is still connected currently. For a short duration you should be OK. Just be careful not to pull on the ribbon cable and don’t touch any metal parts to any components while its running....
Chosen Solution I bought a 13inch macbook air 2011 edition with 128 GB capacit5y, I want to increase it to 256 as I thought Apple usually charges a premium on flash memory. On ifixit site it was said during teardown that it is possible to increase SSD but not RAM. But can you suggest hopw and where , and if it will be cheaper than Apple ? If not I might as well return 128GB and buy 256 gb one if the price diff is not that much....

Chosen Solution for some reason i don’t know, i put the screw on the bottom side of the mac and try to screw it. Then i realized that the screw for some reason wasn’t going in place. So, i tried to screw backside to pull it out. But now it turns and it doesn’t go in or out. I tried to pull with a plier but no result. Any ideas how to pull out the damaged screw?...

I have googled it and I have even downloaded a couple of apps a while back and they were just aggravating. You must have the fabric softener switch on to get full water level in rinse cycle. With it off, power will be applied to the timer motor during rinse fill via fabric softener pressure switch bypass contacts in the timer....
Chosen Solution I had an issue with the Command key and 0 not working, started intermittently. Then qaz and delete stopped working that too started intermittently. So I ordered a new top case. After a lot of screws and picking things apart and putting it back together again, I have a new keyboard. The problem is that Command and 0 is still only working intermittently. If I push both Commands and zero at the same time it usually get them going again....
