Chosen Solution Replaced the battery, phone worked for a couple days, then screen started to malfunction. Took phone apart, checked logic connections, phone worked again for a few days, then same problem with touch screen not working/unresponsive. Took apart again, checked logic/screen connections and phone is now non-functional/scrambled screen only. Can I replace any of these connectors or is the phone aced? The secondary drive belt is part number 6753J which is a 5/8" X 60" belt I realize this is a very old post but we are talking about a very old Lawn Tractor. The new battery works but I am reluctant to remove it because it was that process that caused the damage. Albeit more difficult, but is it still possible to replace the bluetooth and wi-fi antenna without removing the battery?...

I have been a careful as I can on the flat connectors and screen/digitizer as I can and 90% positive nothing is damaged. Is it a part issue or…? Thanks The ribbon cable probably got crushed / damaged when fitting the digitizer onto the frame....

Chosen Solution Touch screen is not working when I try to press buttons. Help! The buttons on the speakers are touch sensitive. The sensors are push touch, so you will have to push on the buttons harder for it to work. Also, the sensor board comes off, so that is also why you will have to push harder for it to sense the touch.

Hi @shuttlecock, You can replace the HDD with an SSD, but just because the HDD is constantly at 100% doesn’t mean that inserting a SSD will resolve the problem. How much ram is installed in the laptop? It may be that there isn’t enough for what you’re trying to do with the laptop and that the HDD is being utilized as virtual memory and the paging file is too small....

Chosen Solution I have a PowerBook G4 667 mhz DVI 15 inch with a bad logic board. Can I replace it with a 800 mhz DVI 15 inch logic board? are they interchangeable? Also, what about switching display assemblies from one to the other? Yes, you can put a 800 MHz DVI board in a 667 MHz machine, but it is recommended to also install a secondary fan as well (the 667 MHz machines do not have the secondary fan)....

Chosen Solution I have had my PSP for a while now, about three to four years and for some reason, my PSP cannot hold a charge. I can charge the PSP and use it with or without the battery, but as soon as it leaves the plug, it dies instantly. Anyone know if this is a problem with the PSP or just the battery? sounds like the battery is completely dead - since it’s a fat psp and you own it for 3-4 years - it’s almost normal that the battery died....

Chosen Solution My Surface Pro 4 has been making a nasty rattling sound, just 2 months out of warranty. It sounds like the fan bearings have dried out. or the fan blades are dragging on something when it’s spinning at a higher speed than usual. I have the tools to open it, but before I do, is it possible to access the bearing or swap out the fan component? Unfortunately you will have to open it up to access the fan....

Chosen Solution When trying to disassemble le the speaker, I am trying to take out the dust filter. And I noticed it had a metal contact on it, with a cable going onto the base of the phone. What does this metal contact do and is it safe to cut it out? I thought it was only a grill stopping dust getting into the actual speaker itself?
