Chosen Solution Hi. So I would like to have a sticker inside every completed iPhone repair I make, with a number on it so that I can track its warranty information and so on if the costumer were to come back some time in the future. That way I can also see if the phone was tampered with since the last repair, thus voiding my warranty. I just has this idea and was wondering if this is possible to stick maybe over the battery connector....

Chosen Solution I am a Mac newby by need of having run an old program on OS 9. I got a MDD, and after about a week, it will no longer start up. The light on the start button flashes, but nothing happens. I tried changing the the power supply, and that did not help, so I assume it is a bad motherboard or CPU. Any way to tell which? Last, what is the trick to release the CPU board from the motherboard?...

Chosen Solution I know the 6s is pretty irrelevant at this point but I’m running into an issue. The phone seems to be charging and dying at a very fast rate. It seems to only deplete while using it though. I have rust replaced the battery and it says life is at 100% but nothing has changed. I think this may have started when I used one of those new fast iPhone chargers that come with the 11....

Chosen Solution Hi Everyone. I’ve got a question about a 1.5 GHz PowerBook G4 (A1095) that won’t charge its battery. Immediately after the computer is booted, the battery is recognized, but is listed as “Not Charging”. A few minutes later, it disappears, and the status changes to “No Battery”. At first, I thought that the (rather old) battery had finally died. However, when we swapped in a new battery, it had exactly the same problem as the original battery, indicating that something is probably wrong with the computer itself....

Chosen Solution Managed to drop my 6+ yesterday and the camera lens got a huge crack in it. Any idea what this would cost to repair at an Apple store, or if there is a better option? Did you happen to get the extended AppleCare coverage? If not see if you can signup for it without them seeing your phone (often Apple will give you a day or two to decide)....

Chosen Solution I have a display that has experienced water damage and the phone is no longer working. I was wondering if the display could be reused in a new phone or if the displays usually die. I will be replacing the front facing camera assembly and headset speaker with new parts. Is it likely the display itself will still work after the damage? Sometimes screens can survive if they don’t get shorted but often water gets trapped between the screen layers....

Chosen Solution My BOSE headphones are about 3 years old. Sometimes the sound in the left ear stops working. If I mess with the connector cord, where it connects to the computer, then I can get the sound to work. If I replace the headphones cable will that fix my problem? it looks that the cable is broken near the connector - if is cuts in and out when you move the cable near the connector, not the plug itself....

This is because it has a thunderbolt 1 port and most other enclosures have usb3 or tb3, neither of which suit my old iMac (21.5, mid 2011). Chosen Solution the pins got bent in the port and no longer charges need to no how to take old port out and put the new one in steve watts, the Mini E10i uses a micro usb port. It is soldered on the logic board. In order to change it you will have to solder very small pieces in a very small place. So, if you have not done such thing before, you will need to practice this first....
