Chosen Solution Was told my laptop over heated and the heat sink will not let it start up. I took it apart and cleaned a massive amount of lint from the heat sink coils, can it be reset or do I have to replace it. Push the power button and the laptop tries to boot, after 4-5 seconds it shuts down. Five seconds later it tries to start again. Will do this three times then shut down completely....
Chosen Solution Kids did something to the tray that holds the cd’s and now it wont close. Is it able to be fixed or should I send it off to Microsoft to be repaired? Could be something stuck in there, or the rubber band on the inside that helps with the disc tray has either slipped or snapped, you would have to dissesemble it to find out, usually an easy fix for anyone that has the patience....

" my laptop does not support itunes and i wondered if theres any way of reseting it or somehow connecting it too itunes and changing my password. Chosen Solution I was doing work on my computer the other day, when suddenly the graphics card turned off inside the computer. i cleaned and reseated it and that got the computer to work. but then the processor fan started running faster than usual. i cleaned the processor and removed the factory thermal paste and applied a new bit. And now the ram sticks, or rather the ram slots, don’t work....
Chosen Solution I replaced my screen and now the number two cable wont re connect… number 1 and 3 do just fine. it doesn’t appear that the connectors on either end are damaged. what do i do? Look on the #2 ribbon cable, if the number is 821-0766-A, this is a 3GS screen. The 3G screen will have 821-0621-A for the part number. You definitely have the wrong part, the correct part can be found here....
Chosen Solution Hello, my problem all started with my screen flickering with the moving of the screen up and down, I changed the display data cable and the inverter…the problem remained. At one point, I thought it might be the isight/inverter cable that comes out of the left hand side of the hinge…so I purchased another one and replaced that one as well. and since I’ve changed those three cables, actuallly now there’s no more flicker…the screen just has the faint image…should I try changing the other side of the inverter cable as well?...
Chosen Solution Hello, i have replaced the lcd and glass on my macbook unibody 2.4ghz, now the bluetooth isn’t working, i tried all tricks like pram etc, so i got a new bluetooth/isight module from ebay, isight still works fine as before replacing the units but still bluetooth not available. anyone have any recommendations? i figured i must have static charged the bluetooth module originally which is why i figured the new one would do the trick, and its probably not the cable due to the isight still working 100 percent....
