Chosen Solution For those of you who’ve worked with this model, I’m sure it has at least crossed your mind… the space provided for the blade SSD (and its carrier adapter) is by far large enough for a standard thin SSD (like a Samsung EVO, 840 Pro, etc). Has anyone tried to alter the adapter carrier and replace the Blade SSD with a standard SSD? If not, any ideas on adapting the SSD cable to a standard drive 2....

Chosen Solution Some blue stains on bottom of screen only on black color and on dark backgrounds like boot screen and others. On white backgrounds aren’t visible. Does not affect performance or tactile sensations. Without giving us any context or background (was this following a drop or repair attempt?), the screen could be improperly mounted or damaged. Give us more info and we may have better guidance to offer.

Chosen Solution I recently installed a copy of Windows 7 Ultimate x64(64 Bit) through bootcamp and i have a problem. I am unable to install the bootcamp 3.0 software in Windows 7. I get a message that says that x64 bootcamp is not supported on this system. I know for a fact that it is supported. It is not imperative that I get all of the bootcamp software running but as of this moment I have NO sound at all(even headphones and speakers are unresponsive), my trackpad is semi-retarded, and all of the function keys are unresponsive, along with the Tab, Eject and Command Keys....

Chosen Solution I cracked my screen a few weeks back and it finally died, it was completely black and would not respond at all. I took it to the repair shop who said there was a problem with the rear camera, getting too hot. They tried replacing the camera but it was still too hot so they have left it disconnected and replaced cracked screen. Also battery life is now half as good as it was before the repair....

Chosen Solution i have a phone with, i won’t say “shattered”, but physically damaged home button. there’s no visible damage to the screen itself, just the button. it just logo boot loops. i swapped out the entire display assembly (including camera and home button). then it boots up just fine - no Touch ID, but i was resigned to that figuring i’d have to replace the original button anyway. can a damaged home button or damaged screen (again no signs of visible damage, but there could be something internal) cause boot up issues?...

Unfortunately, the processors are non-replaceable, and the logic boards are not compatible. Your best bet for Snow Leopard is to save for a new machine. Sorry for the bad news! Not possible, you could buy a non-unibody MacBook Pro, they look a lot like the aluminum PowerBooks, if your attached to the look of the PBG4....

Chosen Solution A bead fell in the headphone jack hole of my Mac and got stuck in there. Any recommendations for how to get it out? My attempts have given me no results and I think the bead could have gone further in. Ouch, bad luck! If it’s made of metal a magnet might do the trick. If not I’d try sucking it out with a vacuum cleaner or trying blowing it out with canned air, it depends on the size of the bead....

Chosen Solution Recently I dropped my 2014 Macbook Pro and completely ruined the screen. It’s a retina display, so to get the screen fixed, it’s a hefty $450 part and then labor costs. Instead of spending hundreds of dollars, is it possible for me to take the insides of that Macbook and use them to upgrade my old and clunky 2011 Macbook? What parts are moveable? My biggest priority is making this 2011 Macbook able to run more current versions of programs (for example the most recent version of R/R Studio)....

It completed successfully, but most of my apps didn’t work because of the obsolescence of 10.12. Chosen Solution Have cd stuck. Won’t eject. How do I get it out Keep trackpad clicked while rebooting, you’ll hear motor trying to kick out the CD. If that doesn’t work, you’ll have to open up the superdrive and remove it manually or replace it.

If you buy the newest battery made and shipped from China, it can be checked by the iOS 11.3. The manufacturers have updated the battery IC data. that depends on the quality of aftermarket battery you get. There is a voltage filter that it needs to be able to take measurements off of to run the tests....

Chosen Solution My canister vacuum is old (Sharp EC6310g) but sturdy. Parts not available. There’s a rock in the hose and I’ve tried blowing it with my wet/dry vac, using plumbing snake–nothing has dislodged it. Can hose be taken apart and put back together? How? Rock is in non-flexible hard plastic where there’s an angle, near top. Would appreciate any help! canyonkid, If you can use something a bit harder to shove in the hose, like a long broom handle, metal rebar, pipe, etc....

Chosen Solution Hi, At first, my backlight stopped working (I can see the screen with shining a torch through the logo). So I took it to a computer repair shop, he opened it up, plugged in a second screen through the LCD screen connector on the motherboard and that screen was working. Oh something wrong with my screen I thought.. But then he plugged in my screen again, and voila it was working again....

After that I noticed that battery sometimes drops it’s level while on charge for seconds and then it starts to charge again like normal. Also the phone is getting burning hot on mid to top right.
