Chosen Solution Model: a1502 Working fine then closed it came home from work and no screen. Nothing, black, no logos, nothing. Been researching but cannot find conclusive answer. -Black screen but HD still works fine -Pram and smc reboots do not work -external hdmi monitor shows full OS X without issue (backed up to time machine) but does not show the laptop display in display preferences -brightness keys do not respond -nothing plugged in, besides hdmi for monitor Have appt with “geniuses” tomorrow but would rather get info from this forum before....

Chosen Solution 1/2" square black image appears on Lcd Monitor and in pictures. It looks like a piece of dirt on the lens but it will not wipe off, it must be on the inside. We had an issue like this with one of the cameras here. Sure enough, as Majesty has said, it was a small speck of dirt on the sensor. Compressed air is a fine solution. They also make a cleaning solution for cameras for just this purpose as well....

Chosen Solution Dropped my 6s on the top right corner. The screen went black. No visible cracks on the screen. I took it to a repair place. They recommended a battery change. That did nothing. The said they couldn’t do more since the screen wasn’t damaged. I watched a couple videos here and got the screen pulled off. Any ideas on what to look for to fix it? Thank you....

Chosen Solution Hi! So, my tablet had a sad encounter with a shower gel in a backpack and since than the power button and the volume button are not working properly. I forgot to charge it ant it went completelly out of battery. It happened beafore, but than pressing the power button really agressively worked and samsung logo appeared and it turned on. Now agressive pressing does nothing. When I plug it in, the screen shows battery loading, so it is not dead, but I still can’t get it to turn on....

Chosen Solution I’ve changed the charging port on a 6s and when I checked it everything was working as it should, now the mic has stopped working on calls. I can be heard when in loud speaker and hands free only, there was a metal shim on the mic at the right of the port that I couldn’t get off the old one so I hadn’t replaced it. Could this be causing the issue?...

A 2009 macbook (non-unibody) lacks the necessary software components to support multitouch. That being said, it may be possible to hack this capability, but not without the aid of some external files. You can’t do it that way, but there is a way....

Chosen Solution I replaced the logic board of my mac book but the SSD stayed the same. I got into recovery, deleted the SSD and reinstalled OSX mountain lion, I also installed it on a USB drive. After choosing the SSD or USB as a boot disk and restarting it still boots into OSX recovery, not into the operating system. Chosen Solution Hard drive stopped working. I was wondering if the hard drive could be replaced? @bluedificil you C300M does not use a hard drive. It uses a Bay Trail which is an SoC utilizing an eMMC for storage. For a lack of better terms it is hard-wired into the motherboard and is not replaceable.

I’ve replaced both belts, and checked: the pump and motor seem OK. Even with the new belts, the clothing is still very damp when the load is done. When starting it up for the first time every day, I usually hear static in the audio, no matter what I’m listening to. Chosen Solution I turn on the computer and fans spin, it makes noise, hard-drive starts spinning up, and then nothing. Nothing pops up on screen, (Screen is NOT broken as I tested that first with a HDMI cable) so my guess is that the BIOS needs to be reset… but Toshiba doesn’t exactly help with any of this by not have public schematics or even guides on how to fix it, I called their tech support and they wanted 20$ USD just to talk to them....
