Chosen Solution I can’t get passed the pin code even when I try to turn it off, it just keeps asking for the pin code, which I know I have the correct code. How can I bypass the pin code? How can it work? I do have a Google account, but I can’t get to that account on the Samsung tablet without the pin code. Do you know the google account that’s on it if so try resetting it....
Chosen Solution Is it possible to install a faster, cheaper graphics card down the line? The ifixit teardown (step 22) of the 27" iMac confirms the graphics card is indeed a separate removable daughtercard and not soldered to the main logic board. so theoretically it may be possible to replace the card, but it’s unclear at this time if compatible ones will become available. I would guess there could be firmware compatibility issues aside from just physically fitting the slot....
Chosen Solution Last week I replaced the battery, the lightning connector assembly, and the volume and ringer switch assembly. Everything works now, but my cellular strength seems lower. I now get no service message in places where it used to work, both at home and at work. Is it possible that I weakened the Cellular antenna(s) with the repair? Wi-Fi is the same as it was. It’s likely that it’s just a bad power supply. Be sure that the cord is plugged in fully....

You could try taking the back cover off the TV and looking on the back of the LCD panel itself (do this with the power disconnected) for the LCD part number which is stamped on it and then searching online for the part that way....

I own one and love it. Most of the parts are servicable and avalable. It just gets into the cost and if the system was damaged how much needs to be replaced. The newer Retina MacBook Pro’s are less repairable as any defect in RAM requires a new logic board....

Make sure, though, that the 667Mhz logic board is definitely from an Onyx model. There is also a 667Mhz DVI logic board that will not be compatible with your Onyx PowerBook. The only consequence of making the switch is that your original system discs will not work, since they are made for your old logic board and not your new one....
Chosen Solution So my macbook arrow key fell off, i’ve watched some videos and i still don’t quiet understand. I don’t have any equipment, I could get some though. No idea how that might happen but keys don’t usually get off unless they’re broken. If it’s not broken a simple pressure would be sufficient to lock back in place the black upper part into the white scissor mechanism. The only way to understand how the two parts match correctly, if watching tutorials didn’t work, would be be to remove carefully another key and compare parts with good light and magnification....

Voltage on FL2024 is 3.8 V FL2025-FL2026 is 0.2 V how should I proceed ? The first thing to check is wether you have a good screen or not. If you have already done that, then start going upstream on the backlight circuit. You should have ~22V on FL2024. That implies that the boost circuit is not working....
Chosen Solution I just purchased a new battery from iFixit for my mid-2010 15” MacBook Pro. When I installed it Coconut Battery reported it had over 100% capacity at 7180 mAh. I then re-calibrated the battery by draining it and re-charging, then the battery capacity dropped to 95%. I have tried this a few more times, and reset the SMC and NVRAM. Now, after 13 charge cycles it’s at 85% capacity....
Chosen Solution I have been given an iPhone 5s to try and repair that boot loops. When you hold down the home and power buttons together the screen goes red before shutting off. The screen had a crack in the top left corner, so I bought a non working 5s off eBay to use as a parts donor. However, even with the new screen fitted, (with screws in correct positions) the phone still boot loops as before....
Chosen Solution I was attempting to repair an iPhone 6s screen, carelessly left the battery attached and blew the backlight fuse when connecting the screen. Sent it off for repair and it came back with a broken front camera, proximity sensor and the top speaker. Assuming that the ribbon cable had been damaged, I sent it back to be repaired. The workshop connected the screen and assembly to another phone and said it worked perfectly....

Chosen Solution I’m trying to repair a phone which has a broken power button. I managed to get the phone turned off but it just turns straight back on again because of the broken button. Is it safe to try to take the phone apart when it is in standby or should I just wait until the battery dies? Taking it apart would involve using the iopener to melt the adhesives....
