Chosen Solution I have a 2008 silverado the CD player worked before but now it wont A few questions to narrow this down… Does the CD load? If it loads does is stay in “reading” mode? If no to #1, then the load belt needs to be changed. It is slipping and can not load the CD properly. If #2, then the lens is likely dirty or has failed. In either case, the unit must be removed from the vehicle in order to resolve the problem....

Chosen Solution I have a MacBook Pro 15" Model A1226. The laptop was working great, then I tried to turn the computer on and it would not boot. The light on the AC Adapter is faintly flashing orange. I have replaced the I/O Board, the AC Adapter, the battery cable, reset the SMC, and nothing fixes the problem. Any ideas? I’m sorry to say it, but if you’ve replaced the AC adapter, and replaced the I/O board with a known-good replacement part, and experienced the exact same symptoms, then all that’s really left that could be faulty is the logic board itself....

Sounds like the rubber button pads are worn out and need to be replaced for the D-Pad Worse case would be liquid damaged instead.

Chosen Solution D50 will autofocus, menu will not light up, clock and battery icon blinks, camera will not take a picture. charles.james, Ensure that the battery contacts are clean and install a new quality set of fully charged batteries and have charger tested or try another known good working compatible charger to rule it out as an issue. Reset clock and try camera. If problem persist, internal clock battery may be faulty or issue with bad components in camera....

Chosen Solution When the charger is plugged in, the battery symbol on the upper left shows a blacked out battery with the “energy bolt” as it is getting power from the cord. However, it won’t charge it any further. So, if the computer is used without the cord, thus, using battery, that’s it… ! I’ve replaced the charger and that didn’t work. I also replaced the battery, that also did not work....

Unfortunately it makes no mention of an individual blue wire. However if you scroll to p.38 it details what the beeps mean and this may help you resolve your problem. Also try tracing the blue wire to the other end....

Chosen Solution Brake lights wouldnt turn off, drajned the battery, had to replace battery because autozone said it was bad (3months old) so after replaced battery car just wont turn over at all now, dont know what the problem is, was told ignition swith and bout to replace that, but is it that or a relay, starter?? @headache The fact your brake lights wont turn off is a clue here and that a 3 month old battery has gone bad is another ....

Chosen Solution Thanks to the wonderful information on this site I was recently able to successfully replace the keyboard on my macbook for $40 after a coffee spill (I now use a sippy cup when the laptop is open!). However… after re-assembly my bluetooth didn’t seem to be working (wifi is fine). I don’t use bluetooth much for peripherals but it apparently is necessary for airdropping things between my macbook and ipads which is something that I do A LOT for my work....
Chosen Solution Thanks to iFixit I have upgraded my 15” Mid 2012 MacBook Pro in several ways: 16 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD and new battery a few weeks ago. There is one more place I’m hoping I can upgrade: The NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M which has 1 GB of dedicated VRAM. It’s on a PCIe bus, so it might be on a plugin card that could be replaced with a higher performance video processor....
