Chosen Solution I’ve changed the screen on my iPad 3 and put a tiny crack in the new one when doing so. If you take the screen out and flip it over, the crack runs through the tiny silver coloured lines running around the edge of the screen just above the home button. Is this why the bottom of my screen will not work now? Or do they have nothing to do with it?...

The average user can’t separate the glass and put another one on without expensive tools. It would cost significantly more than the screen for sure. Chosen Solution Two weeks ago I turned on my MacBook Air the built-in keyboard and trackpad wasn’t working! I have an USB keyboard and a magic mouse connected now to the system so I could still use it. I went to the system preferences but for some strange reason the option ignore built-in keyboard and trackpad when bla bla bla …. is not available. I’ve already reset SMC and NVRAM, battery is ok… By the way when the system boots up the keyboard works but then it immediately stops working....

Chosen Solution The batteries corroded and now it won’t turn on even with new batteries. I tried to clean it but I didn’t really know what to do, ramseyclan2 , Use the links below to see how to clean corrosion off of battery contacts. If not really bad, I use an ink eraser on a pen (slightly abrasive) to clean and then blow out dust/debri with canned compressed air. Chosen Solution I tried to restart my Asus of, as I had done in past, but last time didn’t come back on. Several times I have got it to turn on holding escape and power button. Sometimes it says reboot and can go on to blue screen saying , advance options,. Restart, and something else. You will have to get the previous owner to unlock it for you (they can do this remotely). If you bought it through eBay, you may have some recourse with their returns process. Chosen Solution I have successfully taken apart my ipod to replace the click wheel. I am reinstalling the new one and can’t get the ground wire to stick to the metal frame (step 17 iPod 5th Generation (Video) Click Wheel Replacement ). I am guessing that this is an imperative piece to proper operation. Any suggestions on how to get it to stick? The rest of the ribbon has adhesive and is sticking to the logic board just fine....

I just touched up the fractures and it’s usable again now. The dark black chip I have I am building up with a peachy varnish then letting it dry and alternating with the clear to build up that area....
