Although I keep reading that the nut that secures the fuel bowl on the carburetor has a jet in it. On my machine a Qualcast Classic 35s (1998) it does not have a fuel jet on the nut, I’m confused. Chosen Solution Can I interchange logic boards between A1052 (1.33Ghz), A1085 (1.5), A1107 (1.67Ghz) and A1139 (hi-res version) - suspect possibly not with the latter. I have a 17" A1052 that freezes after a few seconds of operation and I get black messages that tell me to power down and restart, or tell me “System Failure”. Am I correct in suspecting the logic board - it was working flawlessly yesterday....

Chosen Solution Took my HP Pavilion dv9000 w/Windows Vista to computer repair shop. Told me they tried new GPU (sp?), didn’t work, I need new motherboard. They will not replace motherboards in Hp laptops because of all the problems with the replacements being as bad as the originals. Told me to buy a new laptop. Chosen Solution Hi The battery of my computer suddenly stopped working as it used to and now it only charges sporadically. I thought the problem was the magsafe charger so I got a brand new one but the problem persisted. I decided to replace the magsafe DC-in power jack board and nothing happened either. I checked the status of the battery and it says it’s normal. I also reset the SMC and calibrated the battery....

Whilst testing devices after screen replacement I have seen some rapid battery drain and in some cases full shutdowns. There is nothing to suggest the devices weren’t already like this (as we know the 6s battery situation) however I’m wondering can a screen casue this. I have recently changed my screen supplier, it doesn’t happen on each 6s but ive seen it 3-4times now in past few months and I am curious has anyone else experienced this....

No amount of hand pressure would cause the chuck to release and taping the chuck itself with a hammer did not succeed either. Finally, I used a tack hammer to tap the individual tines of the chuck, then used a pair of 3" channel pliers to rotate the locked chuck....
Chosen Solution When i turn on the wii and go to the menu small black lines appear on the tv. the lines dont make it impossible to play but do make it rather unenjoyable. i know its not the disk because it does it without any game inserted. What could be causing the Wii to do this? It could be one of several things, but try to narrow it down to the cable, the port, or the GPU....

When i go into settings it says that my Bluetooth is off, or unavailable, and when i click the Bluetooth setting it has a spinning wheel where the on/off switch should be. I has a suspicion that this was a hardware issue, so i disassembled my iPhone and took out the logic board. Not really knowing what i was doing, i put it back in and reassembled it....

I’ve had a look and can see that on the relevant blade, the small (driving) cog has become broken the little teeth are worn down on one side. Any idea where I could find a replacement? Chosen Solution It’s definitely not a screen brightness issue. Once, it started working after I switched batteries around a couple times and shook the calculator, but became impossible to turn on again the next day. Open the calculator and see if you can see any loose connections. The fact that it worked intermittently when shaken makes me think something may be loose, or that the battery terminals are corroded. Hope it’s something that simple, good luck!...
Chosen Solution Hey iFixit! I have a query regarding the iPhone 5s, could you please answer it; if I can replace only the housing panel of IPhone 5s with the Rose Gold IPhone SE? I haven’t tried this myself but technically speaking, you can put the 5S internals in an SE housing but the opposite is not true. You will have to transfer over everything as the rear camera, Lightning Port and battery have different connectors between the two models....
