Chosen Solution i broke the screen on my htc one x lcd works fine but i was told that i had to replace both lcd and digitizer glass was wondering if this was true or if they are tring to get more money out of me thanks The issue you might face when replacing just the digitizer is that the lcd and digitizer are stuck together with some serious adhesive. If you have a heat gun and patience, you may be able to separate the two without damaging the incredibly sensitive top layer of the lcd....
Chosen Solution I need to replace my screen but I don’t have a heat gun. Will a hair dryer work? Cameron Fairlie yes you can but it will take you longer. You will really have to make sure that the borders of the screen are nicely heated up so take your time with the hairdryer to move along those edges. You may have to do smaller areas and consistently move the hair dryer back and forth along that area....

Chosen Solution The glass covering the camera on the back of my Nexus 5X recently cracked. To prevent shards of glass falling off in my pocket, I removed the entire piece of glass. Now my camera will not focus (even after carefully cleaning the exposed camera lens). If I replaced the glass the covered the camera, would that also correct the focus issue? Chosen Solution I purchased a 2019 Mac 21.5” with 4K Retina display for stupid cheap. Are there parts available for it or is the 2017 4K Retina display compatible? I’m aware that NFC will be disabled, during a screen replacement, but is the Apple Watch Series 4 LTE+GPS and GPS’s screen interchangeable? I can’t find a solid answer, but from the iFixit website on ordering the screen part, both variants led me to the same page where I could order another screen....
Chosen Solution Display is not illuminating - by shining a light through the Apple logo on the back of the display assembly I have verified that graphical data is showing on screen, but it is not backlit. I don’t think this is problematic. The coil doesn’t seem affected but the picture is too blurry to say for certain. You don’t need to tape it up unless the coil is exposed....

Chosen Solution Hi, Can I copy my old drive 1st before I install the new kit ( drive ) I’m buying from you ? Get a USB to SATA adapter. Put the new drive into the machine and attach the old drive via the adapter. Boot holding down the option key and select the external (old) drive. Got to Disk Utilities and format the new drive GUID, OS X extended. Now install a system and allow it to reboot from the new drive....

However, they are not easy to come by and sometimes they cost more than a new TV. What you want to do is to look at the label on the panel, not the TV and do a search with the panel number. you may find a supplier....
