Chosen Solution My sister spilled water into her purse and some got on her DSC W150 camera. It wouldn’t even turn on for days. After the internal battery discharged the camera was able to turn on but the display had no picture. I took the camera and put it under a lamp and noticed that the display was actually on but the back light was dead. I hit the ‘display’ button of course to confirm this by cycling through the LCD on / off, and other functions like show histogram to confirm that the display wasn’t simply turned off by default....

Chosen Solution Hi, So I’ve successfully replaced a water damaged screen on my iPhone 6, retaining the original home button, shield plate and home button cables. I now have a functional phone and home button but with no touch ID (yes I have tried a hard reset and re-seating all the connections). I cannot see any damage, but it was difficult to pry up the original shield cable from the old screen and if any damage occurred I think it was probably there....

Chosen Solution My mac mini which I run as a server for various things had its power supply die, so I purchased a second hand 2012 Mac Mini and placed the (dead) 2011 Mac Mini’s SSD into that one. All is well on that end. I have ordered a power supply and will perform the repair on the 2011 Mac Mini. But now my Mac Mini is without a drive of any kind....

Chosen Solution can my sim board be repair It can always be repaired but chances are it is not cost effective. More than likely you would need someone with some advanced soldering tools to fix it.

Chosen Solution I was just wondering, since the MacBook Pro is a quad-core computer, if anyone knows a way to basically sleep 2 of the 4 cores to get better battery life, or even if this would help with battery life, since quad-cores seem to be pretty power hungry. Chosen Solution I replaced hard drive successfully. I dropped my mouse. I then got a new one. I could not connect it. Then my keyboard stopped working. I replaced batteries. I still couldn’t connect it. So I bought and installed a USB keyboard/mouse. It works fine but I am not able to do some of the things you can with Apple stuff. I removed the keyboard/mouse from Bluetooth items that are paired, but still no luck....

Chosen Solution I got a new video cable for my laptop, but I’ve spent the last hour and a half unable to disconnect one little plastic piece. All it does is go to the HP light on the outside of the laptop that lights up when the laptop is on. I ended up trying to cut off one end of the plastic piece (the part on the broken cable) to try to get to a point that I can pull it apart better, but it didn’t help....

Chosen Solution Overall I really just tried to get the ps4 to stop sounding like a jet engine when starting. Cleaned it up. Couldn’t start until I put washers into it with new thermal paste. Then the disc drive wouldn’t do anything at all. It won’t accept discs. It won’t read them when they’re in. I tried basically all different methods I found online from unplugging to database to pushing the disc in with another disk while it’s off....

Chosen Solution I’ve been told using isopropyl alcohol on the white adhesives are the best way to make it easier to come off. Also when doing battery replacements for iPhone 6 always take off the vibrator motor as it makes it easier to remove with the pull tabs, when you start pulling, start grabbing the white part instead of the black tabs as the adhesive tends to separate from the black tabs....

Chosen Solution I changed my daughter’s iphone 6 battery yesterday with IBestWin replacement battery. Since I messed up the sticky tabs, I used double-sided tape. However, since I had forgotten to press down on the battery, I re-opened it, and pushed down on the battery with my finger. Have a nagging question, could I have pushed down too hard in my zeal? Could the battery be compromised? It did appear a little bowed in but otherwise intact and working....

Chosen Solution My camera says that it has a faulty connection. Is this a general error, or is there a way I can fix the connection and use my camera again? Philip Vecchio the Err 01 is a pretty generic error for a failure in communication between the camera and the lens. You could try and clean the contacts. If that does not work you could a. try your lens on a different body and see if the error shows as well....

There are lots of potential causes for overheating a vehicle. Common causes are problems with the radiator, coolant hoses, radiator fan or condenser fan, thermostat. Are there any leaks on the ground, ‘steam’ coming from the hood or a sweet smell?

Chosen Solution My 92 Honda Accord has been sitting for a few months, go to start it and it turns over, but doesn’t start up. Also, there was oil on the spark plugs, cleaned them up and the car started. A day later, I go to start it again and it doesn’t start up. Chosen Solution I bought a windows 10 usb to upgrade from window 8. I installed to my os primary. It has an error message that the installation did not fully install and you must reboot. When I reboot it just keeps showing the same message. How can i fix it? It wont even let me go restore from factory settings. We cannot find the windows 8 start up disk. I do have the windows 10 usb install....

Chosen Solution I cant charge my phone. The charge port is broken. The tiny wires on the tung broke off. So it needs repacement. I have others that i can use for replacement. You have to solder on the new port. We are currently making a guide for this

Chosen Solution HI. I have had same problem with my Model B60 refusing to close. I’m not sure what happened with mine, but I ended up forcing it to close. DO NOT DO THIS Check near where the silver handle used to close on the K Cup is attached to the machine. Mine has 2 screws on the underside of the silver-colored handle which were loose. They’re located on underside of silver-colored handle which is used to close the machine to brew - very close to where handle attaches to the unit....
