The computer is registering that my TV is connected but the TV just says no signal. I have tried several hdmi cables. At one point the TV did work for a split second but now won’t. TYIA Hi @purplequeen , With the engine running, use a Voltmeter to check the voltage across the vehicle’s battery terminals. You should measure a voltage reading in the range of 13.8 -14.5V DC. (If you haven’t got a DMM (digital multimeter) or know someone who has, see an auto electrician and get them to check it for you....
Chosen Solution i have a fingerprint reader on my computer, and i have loved it up until now. i have downloaded the latest drivers and it still doesn’t work correctly. it will light up when you run your finger over it but it want fill in your data??? any suggestions??????????? The first thing I’d do is to uninstall the biometric scanner. Restart the OS twice. (What OS are you using?) after that I would reinstall the reader on a different USB port to make sure that you have the new drivers as well as the software required by your reader....
Chosen Solution I was unlucky to spil water on the screen (not on the keyboard). I could see the water drops out of the bottom of the screen. Then I let the MB dry for a couple of days. When I turned it on the startup picture showed and then it turned black. After a new restart the same thing happened, startup picture for a few seconds and then black. Now there is no picture at all....
Chosen Solution i bought an lcd for 60 euro it worked fine for 3 weeks, yesterday it started to do color strips, and after i tryed to restart it was dead. is 100% the lcd or it can be the logic board?, because i don’t want to spend 100 euro for nothing. Sorry for my english i’m italian

Changes I’ve done: Removed the dvd drive and replaced it with an 250 GB SSD drive. (2013) Removed the hard drive and replaced it with a 1000 GB SSD drive. (2016) Upgraded RAM to 16 GB twice (The first replacement RAM stopped working after a while)....

I tried unplugging the battery and also tried doing a hard reboot but had no luck. If i put the cracked screen back in it works. Any suggestions You likely have a bad replacement screen(s). Chosen Solution I replaced my lightning port assembly. After reassembling my phone and try to power it up, the Apple logo stays on longer than usual, then I get a blue screen for a second then it goes back to the Apple logo. This continues again and again. I opened the phone back up and found the screw receptacle that holds the screen cable cover plate to the mother board broken....
Chosen Solution Boots to only to apple logo then grey screen with vertical bars in grey, white and black. However, it does boot all the way to desktop in Safe mode, still has the bars on right side however. AHT, even the extended one, said “no problems found”. External monitor shows the same vertical stripes (however, on the left side of the screen!) I am ready to take out the GE Force 8800 GS and do the fix, if you say this is likely my issue....
Chosen Solution I have a 1st-gen 12.9” iPad Pro (A1652) which needs its display replacing: both width ends of the display have a blue-ish tint, looking almost as if the display has two different colour temperatures (from what I’ve previously read, this issue seems to be the ‘screen lottery’ issue that other owners have shared). As I’m on a tight budget, I want to attempt replacing the display myself. I’ve found replacement displays on eBay and AliExpress with varying prices, but no obvious difference between them (except some are without a digitiser)....
Chosen Solution I have the late model 2013 MBP, and I dropped it (only three feet) at an angler that caused the screen to crack. I bought a replacement on eBay, but didn’t read the fine print and discovered that the cables which connect the camera etc. were cut. Ever since then, I’ve had issues with the GPU sense and another sensor that are all reporting -124 which causes kernel_task to consume more than 600% CPU and the laptop runs slower than molasses....

(because all my work friends uses new MS2 gear, but i use older MS1 MBP.) so anyway, i heard MS1’s output voltage is ~16.4v(maybe max 18v?), but MS2 is ~20v. i tried uses not-their-own power adapter of other things, 10~15% of over voltage is not a problem so far. but this time is over 20% difference....

Sadly, there is no newer AirPort boards for your system (Bluetooth 4.0). Your only option is to use an external USB adapter, just make sure macOS is supported. You may have a simple problem as the Bluetooth antenna line could be damaged and all you’ll need to do to regain the signal strength is to replace it....

Initially I would say that you cannot do what you ask. A quick read of the manual indicates to get the aux input to work you need to select Mobile using the remote control (presumably to the console), which then would switch the input connection to the auxiliary input and away from whatever input it was on....

Chosen Solution Charging plug won’t fit into my kindle assuming you have tried another charger, If it does not fit in, there are 2 possible issues. The port is dirty inside. This is much more common with phones, that hang out in the users pocket all day, however, there is a possibility. To fix this, you need an Exacto knife, a toothbrush and isopropyl. Use the Xacto knife to dig out any lint build-up, while maintaining the integrity of the pins....

I’ve already swapped out the hard drive and battery, and decided to go the full hog and replace the front panel as well, as the screen was a bit scratched up. Yes we would have to replace the whole thing, as the touch screen module for the ASUS are laminated together with the cover glass. or if your lucky and have the screen sporaddicly work and make it into the bluetooth settings, there is a great item made by favi that is a bluetooth mouse and keyboard combo, that works with my broken one, after getting it to work get an app called bluetooth autoconnect, and if the keyboard gets disconnected it will automaticly reconnect, the mouse will even unlock the tablet and wake it up from sleep mode....
