Chosen Solution I bought a battery replacement pack for my iPhone 5s from iFixit. Previous issue with the original battery was that the phone was turning off at 20-30% when not in power saving mode. Replacement went well and I performed the battery calibration. However, when the phone runs out of battery it turns off (no “thinking circle” you usually get). Then it tries to turn itself on again and turns straight back off before reaching the locked screen (boot loop)....
Chosen Solution I just scored a 27"EMC for free, because it apparently has intermittent display issues. Also the p,o. did take out the HDD, instead of just transferring the data. Further I have no keyboard with it. Given that it is a gift horse I did not question the wisdom to take out the HDD, but just asked to be told what make and model it was, so I can replace it based on that info, as your most excellent site advises....

My front camera takes way better pictures in high resolution and in focus. Also some times the image shakes. Do you think replacing the camera will solve my problem? It turns on, but the promt stops at error 88, which means, according to its manual, a corrupted CMOS data or a defective motherboard (“NB chip may be defective”. I guess it refers to the northbridge chip). So, I loaded the default values stored in the ROM BIOS as the manual explains (moving the jumper), but I get the same error....

Chosen Solution I have the Intel integrated graphics motherboard and like the title said will a e6540 motherboard fit or it not can upgrade to the discreet graphics card motherboard If you want a 6540 (assuming you own an SSD) you’re better off buying one that’s been tested without a hard drive and transferring your drive, and the system ownership. The odds of this working are extremely low with your 6530 chassis....

After borrowing a macbook air charger from a friend and trying it out.. It starts up normal and you can hear the chime + apple logo etc once u see the mouse u can move it And then out of the blue it just dies....

Chosen Solution As you probably know, vendors don’t always check compatibility, but, rather assume it. Presently there are 2 eBay vendors with “A2159 LED Touch Bar” for sale but — the part number is the same as the 2016-2018 model … and it’s not compatible. Unfortunately, the tech who took it apart for me to do the replacement was kind enough to throw the original away without looking at it. Those who do say they have the A2159 (EMC 3301) Touch Bar I need charge substantially more but either show the wrong pat number … NO Part Number....

There are three possible candidates so far as I can see: y/cvbs, pb, and pr @senn if your AV cable has three RCA jacks (yellow/white/red) then the yellow should be connected to the Y jack.
