Chosen Solution Verizon has some carrier service installed on an iPhone 6s Plus I just bought. I factory restored it without knowing about it, and now I can’t activate the iPhone without a carrier update. It’s a little tough to get an update from a carrier when any sim I put in says NO SERVICE…would installing a custom or older ipsw? Any ideas on how to resolve this would be greatly appreciated!...

I’ve realised the pattern of the case is basically integrated into the back of the phone. I’ve tried scrubbing it for like 15 minutes but nothing changed. Is there any way to remove it? Chosen Solution When I try to plug in my charger to the phone, it seems loose, connects but then not. I have to wiggle it until it finally says “charging” and try to set it down carefully or this process starts all over again. The Lightning cable 8-pin connector should be sitting flush with the housing and completely inserted. If it is not, there could be lint/dust/debris inside the port impeding a proper connection....
Chosen Solution Keyboard went out about 6 months ago. Just got the money to buy a new one and replaced the optical drive while I was at it. Charged the battery and pushed the power. Chosen Solution In the process of replacing the LCD, I managed to incorrectly seat the LED/inverter power connector. I now have a pin that is bent so badly that it’s shaped like a hook. By the looks of the pin, these pins must be pretty heavy duty – but I’m afraid I’m going to snap it if I bend it back. I was thinking of using some micro pliers or something similar....

Switch off your laptop and with a dry lint free cloth gently wipe over the screen and see if the spots are removed. If only some are gone use a barely moist (almost dry) cloth and see if that removes the spots. If cleaning the screen doesn’t work, start your laptop in ‘safe mode’ and see if the spots are still there....
Chosen Solution My iPhone Bluetooth connection keeps dropping. Lasts for seconds, on multiple devices, then starts working again! Really frustrating on a run. WiFi not affected, range for Bluetooth still fine… problems started with iOS 11 and continued into iOS 12 public beta. Any ideas?? I would start by doing a “Settings/General/Reset/Reset Network Settings” to see if that helps. IF the phone has been worked on or opened in the recent past, it is possible that one of the antennas or interconnects was partially dislodged....

Chosen Solution It stops letting me shoot after 22 and i have 36 exposure film At this point you’ll need to take the film out to try to figure out why its messing up. Best to fully rewind the film and get the 22 images processed Vs putting them at risk trying to reload the film back. Once you get the film out see if the shutter release works after each winding of the film advancement lever....

I don’t think the serial number is part of the CPU itself, but rather part of the logic board, and like MacHead mentions, a logic board swap is effectively the only way to change the serial number. New logic boards often come with no assigned serial number, and there is a technical procedure required to put a serial number on the board (typically you would put onto it the serial number of the board you are replacing)....

The metering jets are almost certainly plugged and not allowing any fuel through. If the motor spins and the plug sparks, but comes out bone dry you aren’t getting any fuel to the engine....
