You should be able to select the settings icon, a gear, and language icon, an keyboard key, without having to read Chinese, then the language selections should all be in their native alphabets. Chosen Solution I’ve only had my ASUS C100p for eight months and I have already damaged it. Everytime I open or close the chromebook, the hinge makes a cracking sound. Since I can flip the chromebook, when I bend it over like a tablet, the hinge becomes exposed and the monitor screen partially comes off. For some reason I haven’t noticed until it made the sounds. I’m just wondering if I should try self-repairs or going to a repairman....

Backspace Enter Arrow Up Arrow Right McFly , Your keyboard could faulty or keyboard connector not cemented properly. You can reconnect the keyboard FPC and check whether it works or not. if the fault remain same you will have to replace new keyboard.

Chosen Solution The cracked screen was replaced and after reassembly it booted up normally. Following that it is not recognised by a laptop for charging and did not power up normally after some time plugged in. The battery is now flat and the phone unresponsive, what will fix this? note: I also tried charging through another compatible micro to USB connector which did not work. Chosen Solution I just replaced the glass/lcd/digitizer with a full kit from iFixit. I also replaced the battery and loudspeaker. The unit was a refurb from AT&T and the battery was glued in, not tabs to pull, so that took heat and prying from the left. I did the screen unit last. After replacing everything and checking connections, the phone would boot to an Apple logo and get stuck or flash between the logo and a red screen....

Chosen Solution The rear (bottom) panel and hinge got broken on the side of the on/off button on top. Now I can’t get the on/off button to turn the laptop on. The button is not connecting inside.
