Chosen Solution I’m trying to pin-point a suspected short-circuit that is causing heat to be focused on the main speaker during standby. There are several unrelated issues with the phone: touch ID not working, mute switch not working, and non-OEM battery. I guess any of these, or indeed the speaker itself might be the source of the issue. My plan is to open up the phone and eliminate each of the suspect components one at a time by removing one of the connectors and re-booting whilst suspect component remains disconnected to check for reoccurrence of the short....

Chosen Solution I was able to print 20400 pages with this printer when a paper jam occurred. I removed the jams opening the rear of the printer. Since then only the 2/3 upper parts of a A4 page could still be printed. I contacted the technical support of Dell. The only response I obtained was to buy a new printer !!! Chosen Solution Hello, I replaced my battery, everything worked fine for the first few hours than my phone started restarting itself and now it wont even turn on. I realized that i broke a capacitor near the battery connector. Could please somebody tell me which one is that and if its necessary to have on the board or a jumper would do the job? Is there a way how to check their health (see pics) as I couldn’t on the ipad as completely dark and did not open, before I purchase another unit, pls? Chosen Solution I have an 8-cup Farberware coffee percolator (FCP280) that stopped heating properly (it would not get hot enough and made tea-colored coffee). I replaced the thermostat with a ceramic thermostat for coffee makers that is supposed to turn on at 131 degrees and off at 145 degrees. I tested it with just water and with coffee and it percolated for 15 minutes at which time I unplugged it. Also, I checked the temperature of the coffee and it was 200 degrees....

Chosen Solution Every time I turn on the computer it stops loading in the screen where I have to go to the bios (by pressing F1) and then reboots and then normally loads my user profile. Chosen Solution So, I was fixing a water damaged phone - I attach a screen to test the screen working on the phone (with only the two connectors - not the home button connector) and it works fine. Then, I install the home button on to the screen and connect the flex cable to the motherboard connector (the one for the homebutton) and the screen doesn’t come on. But then, if I disconnect the home button connector the phone comes on as usual....

Chosen Solution when i plug into my bench power supply the phone is fine but when i plug it into the charge it goes onto boot loop, i have tried 2 different charge ports and disconnected the battery but still boot loop, would this be a tristar issue Have you tried another battery? After trying another battery if that doesn’t work, without the battery connected measure voltage on the battery connector with a usb cable plugged in, if it’s low then it could be Tristar :)

Chosen Solution My family recently moved and ever since I connected it wirelessly to the new network it has been giving an error message. There does not seem to be any other information or error codes associated. This error has occurred with each of 3 different computers (all of which worked well with the printer prior to the move/change in wireless network). Will not print from internet, saved documents or a test page....

Chosen Solution Is it possible to transfer baseband IC. From icloud lock iphone 6 to Factory unlocked iphone 6 ? The factory unlocked iphone 6 has defective baseband IC .. The Baseband IC is code locked with the CPU /NAND and EEPROM so it cannot be used to fix another logic board, unless you move all four IC’s over (which is not advisable).

Well, there are quite a few around in this forum who would be able to replace the broken connector, myself included, but much depends on where you are. Shipment costs back and forth might be a pretty important factor in the overall repair economy....

It now shuts down when unplugged from the AC Adapter, and will not boot from battery power. Today I turned it on and the screen stayed black but then a series of beeps started and were continuous until I shut the computer off again. Chosen Solution So, they gave me a p9 lite to check as it was getting pretty hot and it’s fingerprint scanner wasn’t working. Opening it revealed a disconnected scanner and no thermal pad. I plugged it in and it started bootlooping. Cache clear, factory reset and flashing the proper rom from a sd card didn’t solve the issue, what can i do besides getting a new motherboard? So, i fixed it....
