Is it possible to buy a spare camera and a spare logic board to harvest the camera connecters from each and then use some sort of cable in between them to create an extension camera flex cable? Chosen Solution I’m pretty new to the IT world, so I don’t know much. I was formatting the hardrive on my laptop and the outlet I had the charger coincidentally wasn’t working. Anyway, the laptop died somewhere around 60% and I have no idea how to boot the computer the right way. Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated, let me know what other info you need. Get an os dvd, insert it, on your pc , it will itself show you press any key to boot, and in the case it doesn’t, on the pc, continuously keep pressing f2 button until blue screen apears, there select DVD drive as first boot option Hit f10 and will work....
Chosen Solution My iPhone 5s is less than a year old and the battery one day started draining incredibly fast even in standby and airplane. I tried to reset the phone and set up as new with no luck. I’ve tried doing all the “hacks to save battery” such as turning off mail fetch. But the battery still drains very fast. The phone aloso can charge to 100% but is never “fully charged” so I am unable to check the standby and usage times in battery settings....

Chosen Solution I use my iPhone 6s Plus only inside, hardly outside. It has never fel, no damages whatsoever and protected by a good cover. It had the official battery replacement in Jan 2018 by the official apple dealer here in Malta. Never had any problems with it. Obviously it is out of warrantee but even after the battery replacement all worked well as should. Three weeks ago I had a facetime call and the front camera was not working anymore....
Chosen Solution The internal microphone stopped working. I checked the typical suggesting like rebooting phone, checking settings etc. and nothing works. I can still talk to people if I use my speakerphone phone, SIRI also hears me as its through speaker phone. But if I do a phone call and use the internal (small) microphone it doesn’t work.. the other end can’t hear me. Any ideas what the culprit here is or what could be the cause?...

It requires you to either place the rectangular metal sheet between the case and the iPhone or it glued to the back of the iPhone. Chosen Solution Hi i brought a replacement screen from ifixit but i screwed up trying to set the connections and pulled too hard and they the clamps that hold the wiring connections snapped ,should i give up it.As of now it wont respond to any attempt to operate the touch screen by swiping it on. hi it would be up to you if you would like to give up or not but the clamps do need to be in place with a solid connection to allow proper use of the digitizer....

Chosen Solution Stand, removal Unfortunately only the 27" can be vesa mounted onto a stand. The 21.5" isn’t compatible with any vesa mount out there except for 3rd party ones that attach to the stand (that leave the stand on) and mount to the arm. If you still want one here is the link to one that I have seen but as far as I know this is the only way....
Chosen Solution I fell into fresh lake water with my Samsung Rugby II SGH-A847 in my pocket. I imediately took out the battery and dried it off with a towel and set it in a hot truck to dry more. Samsung says this model is water resistant to 1 meter immersion. After several days drying it turned on displays the normal screen, but displays “searching” for the 3G network contimously. If you try and make a call it displays “emergency calls only”....

It still does the same thing. Is this a bad battery? I left it hooked up to the charger and tried to start with the charger in start mode and still just clicking sound. Chosen Solution I bought a second iphone, and when i opened it to change home button, i found that plate to guard lcd flex and battery are missing. They are important as they stop the ribbon cables for screen and battery from disconnecting when the phone is dropped or subjected to any vibrations.

Chosen Solution Hi, My old iphone 3G all of a sudden packed up charging, the battery died and I got no response from it at all. I got hold of a new battery & flex cable, as well as a new power button (this was a another problem that had developed) and opened it up and switched them all. Put it all back together again and tried charging it just now and I can see that when it’s plugged in to a power source it is working ok....
Chosen Solution I just replaced my battery with an Ifixit part, and still no sign of life in my iPhone 7+. What else could be causing it not to turn on? If you replaced the battery and are sure it is not a faulty screen (PC recognise it?) than the only other option is let a professional look at it.
