Chosen Solution Hi everyone- It would appear that after a long time of just answering questions it’s my turn to ask a question. Well so I’ve noticed that now the female end of the MagSafe connector on my MacBook looks like it has corrosion (or something else) there is discoloration and it looks like the port is “gunked up” or dirty somehow. What I want to no is if anyone can confirm that this is corrosion and/or explain how to clean it....

Chosen Solution I turn my play station 4 on and it says unable to turn on and it says I need to initialize it again using a USB With the latest system update download. I have done this three times and gotten it to start over as a new machine but whenever I turn it off and turn it back on it says I have to do it all over again...

Chosen Solution Would it be possible to put the internals of the iphone 6 into the body of the 5s? Assuming you keep the screen and battery of the 5s, would the iPhone 6 chips recognize the screen / battery or is it a different physical connector between the two? Lol good luck with that the logic board in the 6 is bigger that the 5s caseing plus connector would never fit Simple answer is no...

DQX has a damaged backlight led fuse on the logic board, maybe someone can place a sign on the pictures i uploaded and tell me which one is the led fuse and how I replace it the best way, lcd Panel works perfect! thx a lot, HJS, this is what I found on my schematic. I would still like to triple check, so a good part number for the logic board would be great....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve had a fried iPod Photo 60GB (and previously the back light wasn’t working either). After investigation I first replaced the logic board, but it didn’t work though I could hear whirring noises. Next, I replaced the display (my original cable looked a bit “fried”) and then the battery. Now I get the Apple logo continously, but can’t get the iPod to be recognised by iTunes or my PC (tried to get it in disk mode manually but that doesn’t work either, it will only show me the Apple logo)....

Chosen Solution I replaced my battery yesterday, then I let the phone set over the night and today I’m trying to charge it. But the apple logo first appears, then disappears, with 5 seconds showing, and 3 seconds shut off. I plugged in everything according to instructions. I’m not sure what the problem is. Help me, please! You might have had bad luck with your purchase and received a faulty battery....

Chosen Solution Long story short: I am an idiot and I tried to open a FPC connector from the front instead of the back. Obviously, this was not good at all and part of the connector is now broken and teared. This is not beautiful to see. As a result, when the screen is supposed to turn on, there appears noisy multicolored pixels. I do not want to give up and I considered buying a motherboard to replace it....

Chosen Solution Hi, Gday! I am trying to repaire back-light problem on my MacBook A1278, i have installed a new screen but the back-light still doesn’t work. I could see the desktop under a very bright lamp and when i connect the MacBook to an external monitor, everything works! So it shouldn’t be problem with the logic board. The problem is, i think it must be problem of the new lcd panel or the lvds cable....

Chosen Solution Can anyone help me? I have an issue with a 5s where it is stuck in a bootloop. It will boot to an apple logo for a couple of seconds then turn off and repeat. The odd time when its turning off i get a red screen but not everytime. When i attempt to connect it to itunes/computer it wont connect. Its like its being turned off completely even when i try to put in recovery mode or dfu mode....

Chosen Solution Hi, Few days back my both cameras and flash stopped working. we don’t have a apple shop in our city. when I open camera app it’s black but no errors even for flash. and when I run secondary camera apps, It just closes after 2 seconds. Both cameras are powered by the same voltage rail; this is provided by U3200. There are some other voltage rails at play also but if they were bad, most of your phone wouldn’t work either....

Chosen Solution What is the product do I need to repair this break in the screen? Is it the product only: IF186-050-1 since your LCD seems to be cracked you will need to replace it. I booted it up in diagnostic mode, ran all of the tests, and found that the only defective part of the iPod was the hard drive. I have a somewhat limited budget, so I’m trying to find the lowest price hard drive to replace it. Surprisingly enough, I found a 160gb hard drive for cheaper than most 120gb ones....

Chosen Solution Don’t know how it happened but I went to remove my stylus and only 1/2 came out! I broke in the middle not at the seam between the body and the head. Thinking about super glue and a strong piece of wire unless someone has a better idea. You could try screwing a long screw into the broken stylus just enough to grab hold and pull out I took a drill bit and a dab of super glue....
