Chosen Solution I have an early 2009 2.9GHz 24" iMac with an NVIDIA GeForce GT 130 512 MB that is real close to dying. If I can find a replacement, it will cost way too much for this old of an iMac. I’d still like to try and run OS X Server (10.11-max) and know the Mac mini can run headless when configured properly. If I disconnect the graphics card, will the iMac still start up?...

I have read the Ifixit manual and watched the video which seemd to say about it not being compatible with the decemeber 2016 update. Can anyone confirm this? i spoke to Microsoft who said they view this as “tampering” thank you You can replace the internal hard disk with anything you like up to 2TB, anything over that can cause problems, it isn’t as easy as just formatting the hard disk and inserting it, you have to plug your existing Xbox had disk into a PC and retrieve the GUID’s of the HDD and of the five partitions....
Chosen Solution My passport was connected to Airport extreme and I got a “Disk needs repair” message. No noise on the hard drive. Connected the external HD to my Mac but it won’t mount. I tried mounting with diskutil mount /dev/pathToDisk and diskutil mount readOnly /dev/pathToDisk but it won’t mount. The disk is formatted in the Mac OS Extended (Journaled) format (HFS+). I downloaded WD Drive Utilities software to check the HD and it passed WD checks....

Despite everything I’ve tested, my device has been recording in purple, and I cannot figure out why. Chosen Solution replaced wifi antena and flex cable and now lightning cable will not plug into phone port properly? help please, phone works perfect now but can not charge it. all screws in proper places and none lost or missing. Try plugging the lightningcable into the flex cable when it’s not screwed in? Sounds like a bad Chargeport flex.
Chosen Solution Dear Sir , my phone problem started once extended warranty (3Y) finished ,maximum charging 6% after one hour and extreme temperature for mobile body . I like my first Phone and I hope to fix it. Pls advise. Have you tried cleaning the charging port? Most likely it’s clogged with dust. Also for the heating issue consider replacing your battery if you haven’t replaced it once in the 3 years....

Chosen Solution Hi, I’ve replaced a cracked lcd/digitizer assembly on an iPad Pro 12.9" device and the client says the apple pencil doesnt work with the new screen. Anyone else experience the same fault? The Problem was a faulty screen, replaced the screen with a new one and pencil is working perfect. have you tried re-pairing it? I assume each screen has a unique identifier in it. It would kinda, almost make sense that re-pairing would fix it....

Chosen Solution I have an iPod mini 2G, but the battery indicator always has a lightning bolt over it, even though it’s not plugged in. When I let it sit for a while the screen changes to saying “Charged” and a battery with the lightning bolt over it, as if it was charging. Hi It is usually 1 of 2 things 1)a dirty charge port:have a look under a strong light for any dirt and debris,if any are found try and carefully remove it with something thin like a sewing needle or some fine tipped tweasers,just anything thin After that carefully clean it with a toothbrush and some isopropyl alcohol Or 2)it could be a bad battery,this is quite common due to the iPods age as battery’s degrade with age and these battery’s will be around 20 years old so it’s not rare to see battery isssues Here’s a battery replacement guide iPod Mini Battery Replacement If the above doesn’t work you could be looking at a logicboard issue which could be solved however the microsoldering side of things isn’t the easiest for everyone so if you want to try it make sure you are comfortable with it Hopefully this helps Any questions please ask Thanks:-)

Chosen Solution I’ve got a A1502 that I just replaced the screen on (replaced the entire assembly) and now the camera is not working. I’m almost 100% certain that I didn’t put any strain on the cable. It flashes green when I try to use it in FaceTime or photo booth. FaceTime just stays black and photo booth has a constant loading circle. The camera was not tested prior to service due to the LCD going completely out....

Yesterday I unglued the digitizer, and I saw the way it is glued to the “core screen” and the frame. Since the digitizer is still perfectly OK, can I glue it again on the newer frame? Do I need to buy a special glue for this operation, or am I better off purchasing a completely new digitizer?...
Chosen Solution Hi Everybody! I would like to recovery C driver only but I choose incorrectly to start recovery wizard after launch VAIO Care Rescure. After select start recovery wizard -> skip rescure my data -> click to “Yes , I am sure” in “are you sure you want to start recovery ?” to start recovery -> preparing in about 8 seconds -> until this moment when recovering to 2%. I realized that It’s my mistake when i have to select to Tools -> start advanced recovery wizard to recovery only C driver instead selecting “start recovery wizard”....
