Chosen Solution I have a pcb board where the traces connecting to the solder points are completely gone making it to the point it looks like you cant solder anywhere to fix the problem is it fixable @eridium68 yes, you can repair those. You will need to use jumpers along the broken traces. You can also use jumper wires to the next component or connector along the traces. If you post some good straight pictures showing a bit more of the length of the traces, we could most likely point those out to you....

Chosen Solution I need to try to replace a hard drive in an HP 22-3010 all in one PC. I can’t find anything on it on ifixit, and so far can only find an abbreviated parts listing/description via the HP website, with a summary of the machine specs on a CNET review from a couple of years ago. This is my first attempt to work on an all in one form factor, so if it involves suction cups to remove the display, etc....

Chosen Solution I tried holding the power and home buttons at the same time for one minute, still nothing. I cleaned the charging port, no help. I used different chargers that are for the iPad, I also used car charger for iPad. I took the iPad to a Electronic repair in Pueblo Co. They said that it was the logic board or charging port. They suggested buying a new iPad. It has never been dropped....

Chosen Solution i’ve got an iphone 6s that won’t boot. i don’t know the history of it.i’ve opened it. there’s no sign of physical damage and the LCI’s are still white. i’ve tried a good LCD screen and a good battery. i’ve tried the forced reset and attempted to boot to DFU and restore mode.i can’t get any response to the phone from itunes or 3utools.the only things i haven’t done is tried the mobo with a different charger board or a different base (in case there are issue with the buttons)....

I don’t really care about looks, I can hide it in a case, I just want to upgrade from my crappy LG. Any help is appreciated. I don’t think your idea would be possible - IIRC the case has significant differences compared to the GSM model so trying to shoe horn a GSM board etc into the case will likely not work....

From my understanding, I do not believe that would be possible. As far as I’m concerned, you would only be able to replace it with a logic board of the same year + model of your device. I would be surprised if Apple made the logic board similarly enough to where that would be possible as that would mean people wouldn’t need to buy a whole new computer, but instead just a part—and I don’t think that’s how they work....

While the logic board will fit you will have issues with the charging port and reception due to different antenna connection locations to the midframe.

Chosen Solution I have made a screen replacement on an iPhone 5 and changed the battery. It worked as usual afterwards. The next day when taking the first photo with flash turned on the phone immediately shut down and would not boot since. There is a similar thread here in the forum, but symptoms are different. I have tried: -hard reset by holding ‘home’ +‘power’ buttons for extended time -long charge -checked that battery is still sitting in place -checked other cables inside Since the phone shut down exactly when using flash I assume this is either software caused or because the new battery is faulty....

Chosen Solution I have been trying to copy a CD onto a cassette by using the record button. When I play it back, the cassette has a very faint recording of the CD, if it records it at all. Chosen Solution I replaced the charging port on my sons iPhone 5s and it still had charging issues so we backed it up and did I a full wipe/reset. After the reset it restarts during the setup and we can’t get through it all. I thought it might be a software issue so I hooked it up to my computer and did a restore through iTunes. It said it completed but as soon as you go through setup you can get the restore from backup and it restarts....
