The flash memory is soldered to the motherboard, thus rendering it unserviceable. I think your only option is to buy a seperate logic board (1st Gen Touch) with the desired amount of storage and replace it.

How do i connect the gold connecters back together? This is whats holding me up from putting back together. This question doesn’t really make sense—it isn’t possible to accidentally pull the digitizer flex cable off the touchscreen ic that it is soldered to without significantly tearing the flex....

Chosen Solution It seems to be spinning and draining however the clothes are wet like it didn’t spin..during the spin cyle you can hear it start to spin then mades a loud noise like it stopped then continues this thru out the spin cycle @suesam1133 could be an issue with the transmission as well as the clutch. You need to let us know what make and model your washer is so that we can give you more specifics....
Chosen Solution This is just to confirm what I think to be true but if anyone knows different…I bought a 5th gen(video) ipod as a bit of a break. It apparently didn’t power on. Someone had been in there before me..So I pull it apart, reinsert battery cable and LCD/HDD and it powers on but no backlight on LCD. I couldn’t get to the diagnostic mode but it would go into disk mode but then would not restore in itunes error 1434....

Chosen Solution After falling face-first off of a ~2ft high surface onto the ground, my iPad’s display gained a strange red tinge-anything black appeared streaky and red, and things that were white became a light shade of blue. I found the fix here: Display screen colors distorted and followed the advice. I smacked the iPad on the back with medium strength around ten times near the top-left corner. Nothing changed. I did it again, this time a bit harder....
Chosen Solution i spilled some liquid and had to pop the case to ensure there was no liquid inside. Luckily there wasn’t. I was very careful in taking it off, however, in putting it back i noticed a couple of things: at the front left i am missing a small black plastic thingie (shaped like a basketball key) that exists on the right side. From what i can tell the front case screws (installed through the battery pack cavity on the bottom) goes through this plastic piece....
Chosen Solution I replaced the battery for iPhone 5s with ifixit battery in April 2017. After 6 months, the battery died. Cannot start the iPhone. Is that normal ? (normal usage) My 5s keeps restarting until the battery is completely drained. With batteries you never really know and it also depends on the type of usage/charging you put it through. However, I don’t think it’s normal. I would contact iFixit Support (we’re just volunteers here answering repair questions)....

You can try and disconnect the LVDS cable and turn your TV on. If it turns on (no screen) then your issues is the LCD panel (really bad) if it is not than you may have issues with DTV12v line....
Chosen Solution I broke the plastic retainer portion of the home button connector on the mother board. Is there anything I can do short of replacing the whole mother board? A new one could be soldered on the board but it’s not a DIY repair, you should find someone with good microsoldering experience to get the job done.

I found an ad specifying that the cable / band connecting the Intel HD to the logic board has been replaced, sounds kinda odd… The cable they are referring to must be the LVDS cable between the logic board and the display....
