Chosen Solution I had my screen repaired at a shop which doesn’t work for Apple. Everything went well and I used my system for 2 months with no problems. Then my screen didn’t turn on again. It turned out that my systems backlight doesn’t work (light through Apple logo still shows screen and connected to external screen everything works fine). So I brought it back to that shop. After analyzing it they told me that the LVDS cable is damaged and they have to swap it out....

Chosen Solution Got a nexus 6 64 gb 3 weeks ago. The 3.5 mm headphone jack is not functioning properly. The problem consists of the audio being very low volume and distorted in a specific way; the bass and parts of the midrange seem to be missing. The result when listening to news etc on radio is that some people’s voices sound fine and others very low or distorted. Music sounds completely distorted....

Chosen Solution So I believe that my iPhone battery fried because one day it was in my pocket and I took it out and the back was really hot. The phone would not turn on eventually it cool down and I charge it but it would turn off and on it connects to iTunes if I put it on recovery mode. It only turns on if I plug it in to the charger but the thing is it goes to the apple logo and then the screen goes black where you can tell that it on....

Chosen Solution I’m about to clone a customers mechanical hard drive to an SSD. The SSD is a 480GB drive and the mechanical HDD is 500GB. The cloning software cannot auto resize the partition. I tend to use Windows Disk genius for more complex partition work. I want to know if shrinking an APFS partition would goose the data on the drive. I fix mac’s professionally and I haven’t used cloning software in over 8 years!...

Chosen Solution Hi there I have possibility to buy MacBook Pro 15” 2017, seller says it is “iCloud” locked. I had many MacBooks before but never newer than 2015 (pre Touch Bar). I 100% sure I know it is IMPOSSIBLE to have it iCloud lock - as if I do format disk and reinstall system iCloud lock will be gone. I know about FIRMWARE / BIOS in those 2015 and older - but seller says it is not that lock - it is iCloud lock like in iPhone....

Chosen Solution I have an old iPhone 6s screen that only has responsive touch in certain an areas. I was wondering if I get the glass replaced will it fix the problem? @omgitzzdlow most likely that it will. Touch disease, where part of the digitizer becomes unresponsive due to board level components, is hopefully confined to the iPhone 6 and Plus. I would advise against a glass only repair. It is more difficult and if not done correctly will lead to higher cost....

Chosen Solution OK this is what I found on carburetor, huayi 4p90e, mower is a craftsman LT 1500, 420 cc engine, need to find a replacement carburetor, what will work? @chooch your LT1500 most likely uses a MTD 951-12771A 4P90HU carburetor. Available at places like this as well as this one.

Chosen Solution There appears to be a chip taken out of the top of motherboard and a golf piece is broken off. What parts are these and can they be fixed? iPhone is turning on fine but the touch screen isn’t working. The touch screen isn’t working, is this caused by this break in motherboard. iphone 4 and did quite a bit of damage to the front. Chosen Solution Afternoon, I have a Baxi Luna 3 Comfort Combi Unit, The boiler goes on when I open faucets or showers, But goes cold in about 5 minutes tops, Then takes forever to heat up again. Cant even take showers. The unit is 2 years old, I checked the heat exchanger and flushed it out just incase of scaling or slime. Some dirt but nothing to stop water flow. Chosen Solution Hello, say I have two PC’s, PC A and PC B. If I bless a mac os x hdd from pc a and put it in pc b, will it recognize the os? Or does blessing a hdd write the os’s name to the bios/mac itself? (or related. I’m no tech genius.) Generally you don’t need to ‘Bless the drive’. Really the only time I’ve needed to do it if I used a cloner app the new drive would need to be blessed....

On the left side of the lens barrel, there’s a small switch with two positions, marked AF and MF. Make sure the switch is set to AF.
