Chosen Solution Can´t start operative system properly (Leopard). Screen is black (it was striped once in green and other creepy bright colors but now it´s black, perhaps logic board or graphic card is badly hurt). I tried to insert Leopard-CD to start from but it didn´t help. Now It woun´t give me my CD back. I find no little hole beside the superdrive opening. I have tried holding down “mouse button” while starting, F12 and eject buttons and even sticking a metallic thread in the opening trying to hit some hidden button or so inside....

And as Josh mentioned, 10.4 Tiger is the preferred OS for a PowerBook…they will take Leopard, but Leopard is a much slower, bloated OS, and it definitely lags on older laptops....
Chosen Solution Before I discovered this website I ordered a battery replacement kit online somewhere else and began to replace the battery on my iphone 5c sprint phone. During replacement the battery didnt fit exactly right but the videos i watched said sometimes that happens but not a big deal depending on how bad the fit. Anyways long story short during the switcharoo the connector above the battery broke in the top left corner, it bends back with the cover when it is opened for battery replacement....
Chosen Solution So, Ive done my research and from how the mac book pro is made, It appears that only the outer glass panel is cracked. There are a couple minor cracks near the upper part of the screen and only one of them actually is on the screen and the camera still works fine with no cracks or problems. But since there are no problems with the picture or the LCD screen its self I don’t think it will need to all be replaced....
Chosen Solution So I accidentally pulled the power cord on the computer which should have released (being a mag cord that is designed to do this), but it didn’t, and pulled the computer off of three foot shelf, landing directly on the power cord side. Well, since the cord was still attached, it buckled the outer case near the power receptacle and the USB port. The computer still runs, but it won’t charge....
Chosen Solution Cheers, today I opened my old iPod Touch to try to repair or bypass the home button. While doing so, following the guide on this page, I damaged the hull of the battery. The guide suggested prying the battery off carefully with a spudge, which I did. Unfortunately the glue seemed to be quite strong, as some of silverish outer foil stuck to the glue and ripped the battery open....
Chosen Solution Repairing the faulty screen was too expensive so I simply hooked up a new monitor. Looks great. I don’t need to use the laptop’s screen anymore because I have the new monitor. How do I make the laptop work when I close the lid? You need to leave the lid open to keep the machine from going into sleep mode not sure for your machine but some machines you can go into the power options settings and set it to never sleep and this will keep it from going to sleep when you close the lid Hope this helps
Chosen Solution I have DV209AGW/XAA Samsung dryer. Ignitor comes on ok. Big flame stay on 5-6 seconds after ignitor goes off. Then big flame goes off. I saw four sensors. Flame sensor has continuity. Another sensor in front ( opposite end of flame sensor) also has continuity. By air blower there are two sensors. one I believe is thermostat and has continuity, other is thermistor and has 13k ohms instead of manual says 10k ohms....
