Chosen Solution Hi there I have a problem with an Macbook PRO Late-2008 2,4 Ghz Core 2 Duo, Geforce 9400m and with remobable battery It stars with completly black screen and in any case it works, like it was dead. If I conect to an external monitor the laptop works great on it, no video iusses and nothing worng, perfect in external screen. Them, if I search in “about this MAC…” I can see in display configuration that is shown like if the internal “screen is not conected” and of course “not detected” The external screen is detected propetly in this menu I open the laptop and I see that all is very well conected, cable to logic board and to the screen and it seems to be good Thanks for your time reading this and have a nice day...

Chosen Solution I just acquired a MacBook Pro 15" with a cracked LCD. I was able to have it run from the external monitor and change it to the primary. Everything worked until i tried to upgrade to Snow Leopard! The default screen reverted to the internal display again, but I have no idea what its displaying! I’m stuck. Anyone have any idea how I can get myself out of this fix?...

Chosen Solution Are you able to replaced a broken screen on my device, Moto G Power 2020? And at what cost. Do you have the part? I think finding a local phone repair shop might be a better idea. This forum is more for asking how to fix things, not for recruiting someone to fix it for you. I have seen phone repair folks on this site, just not in this forum....

Mariano Zunino Hernandez the reason for the “CARGO AIRCRAFT ONLY“ warning is most likely because of the battery included with this kit. The iOpener should be no issue on a passenger plane at all.

Chosen Solution Hi, I was trying to fix the yellow tinge issue on my lcd, cracked it, and now have bought a very cheap display on ebay and it’s arrived like this: and imgur link here: http://imgur.com/a/qqJxW Is this fixable? OR should I call it quits and get one of the “A Grade” displays on ebay and take the loss? There are a few other issues with the diplay, but if i can fix that I would keep it....

Chosen Solution The car was purchased in May with check engine light on. Codes read EVAP system and camshaft position sensor. The car would stop accelerating randomly on the highway. The car shop’s mechanic said the EVAP system code wasnt there but they would fix the camshaft sensor. After 3x of not fixing the issue, they said it was a coil. Long story short, the mechanic took out the lightbulb to the “service engine soon” so I would think the coil was fixed....

Chosen Solution I changed logic board on my iPhone 6, 16gb from a iPhone 6, 64gb but now I have issues with the battery draining. I have tried different things in the phone to turn off different things on settings and I have also tried switching to a different battery that I know for sure is a good battery. Chosen Solution I have a clicking noise coming from my 27" iMac 2012 A1419 system I replaced Power Supply boardUnplugged Cooler Fan But noise is still same. When i start CPU stress test, CPU temperatures go around 90~105 degree, i can hear this noise. It sounds from Logic Board, i guess. Update (05/07/2022) @danj For testing, i unplugged the fan, but noise is same. I think this noise is not related with Power Supply or Fan or HDD....

Chosen Solution I’m getting a usb error code 43. I’ve tried all kinds of fixes. No usb device is recognized when plug in. Nothing registers when I plug in sdram card. Chosen Solution I have a broken 20" iMac (Late 2006) with a busted mainboard, the only part that still works is the LCD screen. I also have a MacBook (Late 2007) which I would be willing to take apart to disconnect the MacBook’s display and connect the MacBook to the iMac’s display. Before I even get started on this, are the cable ribbons that connect the lcds to the mainboards at all the same between a MacBook and an iMac?...

Chosen Solution My 70" SAMSUNG UA70KU7000KXXA UHD FLAT SMART TV Screen has a crack straight down the left hand side of the screen only visible when the unit is powered on. There is colour on the outskirts of the screen other than that everything is black. Sound works perfectly and it still responds to the remote. Can this be fixed? Chosen Solution While cleaning the crumbs out of my toaster, a long metal rod fell out and then later I found a long spring that must go around the rod on the floor - guess it flew out while I was banging out the crumbs (upside down). It has something to do with the pull down lever but I can’t figure out where it would go or how to put in back in....

Chosen Solution Hi During the replacement of a faulty charging port, I damaged the touch key component which is stuck onto the inner mid frame. I’ve now scraped off all remnants of the touch keys (little white pads with a thin glass film). Is it possible to source a replacement charging port that comes complete with the entire touch key assembly? I have seen a few on ebay that do not come with it Thanks!...

The package arrived today, and after installing the new LCD, I noticed, that the Apple Logo appeared when starting up the device. After it has finished booting, it went to the watchface, but after that I wasn’t able to interact with the watch anymore. The touch doesnt work, and any buttons dont seem to do anything as well....

Chosen Solution I’ve installed a few iPhone 4 screens I’ve bought off of ebay and they are definatley not Apple Retina displays. There not bad, but there not OEM quality. Are the screen for sale on your site genuine Apple retina displays? deanwilde, most people on this forum are not directly connected with ifixit and we would not know, nor could we answer this. Chosen Solution So I just bought and replaced the back panel for the Pixel 4, everything works just fine except the camera. Now it’s fully blurry, not like, smoky or anything, it just refuses to focus. I am really hoping for a fix to this without needing to purchase anything else, but at this point, I would love any knowledge on the matter. Nevermind. I am an idiot, and didn’t take off well marked protective stickers from the back of the plate....
