Chosen Solution I have a mid 2012 retina 15 MacBook Pro. I have a program that I use to test the computer that will let me know the FPS and the GPU heat. It seems if the computer is unplugged from a power source and goes past 80 C it will go black and a few seconds later the fans will stop spinning (shutting down). Chosen Solution Just prior to upgrading to 10.5 Leopard, the iMac was operating well, did have two or less kernel panics a month. Had more before power supply was replaced with a new one. Frequent kernel panics are now back after complete Leopard install. iMac rarely fully boots without kernel panic, or if it does, has kernel panic within a few minutes of any sort of usage. Disk Utility finds no problems....
Chosen Solution Someone brought in that MP 2,1(1186) ,2007; S/N:157192LMUPZ, that was shutting down randomly. The diagnose LEDs on the logic board say: CPU A&B overheat. I took it apart, released it from that disgusting melange of nicotine and dust, gave it a fair layer of thermal compound. Now the thing just reboots randomly, even in idle and the LEDs still say : overheat, although all fans are working. Note: He bought it ’ hacked ‘; its running Mavericks on a 256 GB SSD, with a ATI Radeon HD 8770 and it will not boot externally from either SL oder Lion, doesn’t even accept target mode....

Chosen Solution I’ve bought a defective PS4, the disk drive accepts disks and spins them, but the Eject button is completely unresponsive. The disk does not show up in the main menu. So I took a look at the data connection between the drive and motherboard and it seems that the previous owner ripped out the data cable and broke of the top part of the connection port. The pins inside the port seem to be fine and i can slide in the data cable, but my concern is that the missing top part of the connector doesn’t push the cable onto the connectors....

There is no obvious way to disassemble it in order to fix it: I’ve tried to look under the pads to see if there was a screw underneath like in the Anywere MX with no luck). Suggestions are welcome.
