Chosen Solution What would cause this motor to backfire when starting? backfire is a result of half burned, hot exhaust finding oxygen to finish burning. I’d change the spark plug first. I’m guessing its also hard to start or does it just do this when the engine has been running?

Chosen Solution Long story short, my logic board went out. Started smelling like burnt electronics. Pulled the board out, and found one of the capacitors on the back side of the logic board was melted. It seems like it would be fairly easy to replace, I just don’t know what capacitor it is, or where to find one. I know it looks like a D2E Case Tantalum capacitor, but beyond that, I’m not sure....

Chosen Solution I currently have both the SSD & HDD (Fusion Drive) on my iMac with a S.M.A.R.T. status failing. From my research it means that both these drives have very little life left in them. I plan on splitting the Fusion Drive into the two separate drives and then only replace the HDD with the SSD using the iFixit drive replacement kit. However I’m not sure if it will cause any issues to still have the failing SSD left in the iMac....

Chosen Solution Both monitors are from the same family and one is just a smaller version of the other. At a quick glance the mainboards looks almost the same, so could I use the, cheaper, one from the 25um58-p in my broken 29um58-p? I’m guessing there is something that I don’t know about or haven’t coincided that makes this answer a no, but I’d rather ask first before potentially tossing money towards a more expensive part....

Chosen Solution Both are model A1466. I just tried the swap now and when I put the SSD from the dead 2017 into the 2015 in comes up with a flashing folder with a question mark. If I hold down the option button when powering on the only choice is network. Does this mean the SSD is dead or corrupted? Yes they are compatible. To confirm either of those you’ll need to boot a MacOS installation media (via USB or internet recovery) and check if it is detected under disk utility....

Once you have the information you need to check that you have it in the SMS Message center setting area in your phone. Not sure where it is in the Settings area of your phone but it should look something like this....

Is this possibly a BBB issue ?? @legend147 you could always contact them on www.bbb.org and see what they are saying. Ultimately, unless there is some kind of recall on this fridge, I believe there is nothing you can do. Of course you can complain directly to LG about this fridge and to make sure not to buy another one....

Chosen Solution My laptop failed - screen suddenly froze, mouse did not move, no rainbow wheel of death just completely frozen. I turned it off and tried to restart but it only made the start up noise. I was able to get use CMD + R to get to the area to reinstall a new OS, see disc utility etc, but computer did not find my hard drive. i took it to the apple store to see their verdict and they confirmed my SSD was toast....
