He told me it was like that before the battery died. However I did notice 3 (I think) bare solder pads at the point circled in yellow in the pic, but not until later could I consult the iFixit guide to examine what it should look like....

If I shine a flashlight through the Apple logo, I can see a little bit of my screen. Is there any guide specifically for a A1398 mid 2015? Thank you in advance! I try to changed the battery , changhed u2 IC, but the problem still. When i was changing u2 IC, i broken q2, and jump all pads (in q2). Chosen Solution I am thinking of doing two separate swaps - replacing the battery first and fixing issues with the time via terminal (so my new hard drive will be recognized). Then go back and swap the hard drive. Does this sound like a good idea? First off, don’t clone MacOS - it hasn’t worked reliably since Lion introduced recovery partitions on some of the newer Macs! You want to backup the Mac and restore it from a backup after clean installing the OS....

Chosen Solution Hi, So I got this weird black bar that appears on the bottom of the bar only after using the laptop for a period of time, and it just getting higher since the first time it appeared! The backlight diffuser sheets are coming loose from the back side of the panel at the bottom so the backlight is not illuminating that section. You’ll need a new display assembly. There is nothing repairable here as the display is sealed tightly....

Chosen Solution Trying to change the battery on a A1099 Classic iPod (4th Gen) and the hard drive cable to circuit board connector disengaged. Can this be reattached? There is no visible means of attachment so I fear all those little pins were soldered? see photo redicliff, what you are looking at is the back of the cable with the connector torn off the logic board. Turn your cable around and you should see the connector....

Chosen Solution Bought my dryer used with a minor crack on the inside, the crack has double in size and has made a while. This ruins clothes and towels by getting caught onto pieces of the crack. What can I do without replacing the entire dryer? emilyivivanco if you are talking about the drum (tumbler) itself, that is going to be a big one. The part number for your dryers tumbler is Maytag 33001108 and it could be a bit hard to find....

This is a disaster for me because I like to have RAID on the internal drive to provide redundancy in case one of the internal drives fails. Chosen Solution I have a donated iPhone 7 Plus with a torn home button cable. Not thinking, I factory reset the device (to remove any personal data left over on it after removing activation lock). This also reset the assistive touch setting. Is there anyway to bypass the home button funtion on setup screen to get assistive touch back on? I can’t see any reason…ohh..I get it not. Chosen Solution I’ve tried to retore my iPhone 6 64gb through several attempts on itunes. I believe the error I was getting was 4013. Went to the apple store and they couldn’t restore it either. As it’s 60 days outside of warranty they wont replace it. They said it may be a hardware issue. I’ve tried calling local repair shops but all they typically do is screen repairs. I don’t mind tinkering with it myself if I have to but I don’t know where to start....
