AP_TO_LCM_RESET shorted on iPhone 6s. Phone is recognised by iTunes when plugged into a computer. Im getting no image & no backlight. Ive done a bit of research on this from the limited information available and it seems as though it is looking like a no fix. Has anybody had this issue before and had any luck solving it? Cheers
Update : So i removed the CPU (begrudgingly) and the Short on AP_TO_LCM_RESET has now gone!! Re-Balled & Re-fitted the CPU and now have a working phone!!
It’s highly unlikely that R4220 is shorted. The fact that you removed it and the short was still there would lead me to believe that C4221 is the culprit here. Remove that cap to see if the short goes away. If it doesn’t, then check the connector to make sure there are no issues there before calling it a no fix…unless you enjoy removing CPU’s :>).
have you checked around fl4221 i had a 6s with no image and backlight and there was a short in that area
