Chosen Solution

Guys a bump. But I have the same issue, and I can’t see the solution that dmit2k has submitted. Perhaps it will help me out, can anyone tell the solution?

Here’s where to get all the information about your Mac battery that you ever wanted to know and much more: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204054

Does it have an X on the battery? This is SMC data line being pulled down, or bad SMC. Does it say battery not charging? This is PPBUS_G3H not being created, current sensing issue on the charger, or current sensing issue on the battery. Does it work off the battery but not off the charger, or does it work off the charger and not off the battery? Does it work off the battery and not charge it, or does it NOT work off the battery and not charge it? These are all separate issues, from battery detection, to current sensing on the charger, to current sensing on the battery, to PPBUS_G3H not being created at all. Hello Serdar, actually my solution was simple: there is one more circuit board inside macbook which is responsive for displaying battery charge with green led lights when you press the button. When it is damaged it may confuse the mainboard that charging is not working or no battery at all. The magsafe unit and the mainboard still may work properly, even if liquid damaged. In my case I simply disconnected this led lights circuit from the mainboard and the macbook started charging the battery. Later I carefully washed this circuit AND the mainboard + magsafe module with DISTILLED water, let it dry two days and things worked again, including the led lights.

I need you to go up to the battery icon and hold the Option key and click the battery icon at the same time. if it says “Condition: Consumed”, then you need a new battery.
