PS4 not accepting or ejecting disks. Drive still recognizes disks while using manual eject screw and will play them. Swapped for identical Blu Ray drive and it is exactly the same. Still wont accept or eject disks but can play using manual eject. Also, I rebuilt the database and updated the system. Did not initialize. Totally got me stumped…
That’s some good testing and diagnosis you’ve done. Usually in this case I would take the large square chip on the underside of the PCB and swap it onto another PCB that has the same 3 digit code on it. In most cases this has gotten them working for me. It’s not a 100% for sure fix but it will fix this type of problem most of the time. Hope this helps.
