by the years the Epson C1100 printer get it more difficult to print. At this moment it will only print one paper at the time and by doing so, it first crumbles the paper before printing it. (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tygyUDK2… ) Printing multiple pages results in paper yam at the pickup point. Problem is, everything looks fine. Nothing is broken of dirty. Does anyone know where to start fixing this printer?
Hi, Don’t know about your printer but usually when the paper crumples it is because it is not being fed into the printer evenly. This could be due to dirty or worn pickup rollers. Try cleaning the rollers and check if that resolves the problem. Also check the rollers for wear. Here’s a video (not for your printer) that shows how to clean the pickup rollers in a printer that may be of some help. Here’s a link to the parts catalogue for your printer. I think that the part code for the pickup rollers is 050-12002-086, but I’m not sure if they are the correct rollers. Go to Parts Catalogue Page 4. MECH-003 to view the catalogue part numbers. I inserted 05-02-08 into the Parts code search box to get the part number. Unfortunately searching online using the part number gives no results. I’m not sure if it did it correctly because when I insert 05 02 12 for another set of rollers I get results that are not for rollers. Maybe you will understand it better than I. Hopefully a start.
