So I opened my iMac to replace the hard drive and on my way back to put it together I saw this pin that was bent. And as I tried to bend it back, I broke it. So now there is only one pin instead of two. Is that going to be a problem? What is that copper pin for? Can I fix it? You can see in the image the remaining pin circled in red. The right pin I broke off.

I have not worked on this iMac for years, but copper pins usually means it it making contact with something to power the component. Is there anything above it with copper pads, which it will make contact with when reassembled? If there is, you might have to make your own copper pin (use something conductive) to allow it to make contact. If not, just reassemble it and try it out.
