Hi, I have a samsung tv ( UE50J5500AK) the tv made a pop one day and hasnt been getting power or turning on since. Im certain its the power unit in the back. I have recently been trying to find another faulty screened tv but working . The same model number and size to move and replace all the internal circuit boards into the tv i already have. I came across a Samsung tv exactly like mine but a 48” version. Model number ( UE48J5500AK). So this tv is essentially the same country. The same year. The same model number but 2” different size screen. Isit possible to use these parts to replace with the ones in the tv i have? I read a forum of someone doing it with different size screens in older tvs which worked. If not, what about using a tv with the same screen size but slight different model specifications like UE50J6000AK. Any help appreciated, thanks.
@mista_julius some of those boards interchange while others do not. This will depend on which board you specifically need. For example the power board for your set (should be a BN44-0070E)is interchangeable with the following : UN50J6300AFXZA DH01 UN50J6300AFXZA DH02 UN55J6300AFXZA TH01 UN55J6300AFXZA UH02 UN55J6300AFXZA VH03 UN50J5500AFXZA II03 UN50J5500AFXZA DI02 UN50J5500AFXZA II01 UN55J5300AFXZP DH01 UN55J5300AFXZP DH02 UN55J5300AFXZP AA03 Not saying that the set UE50J6000AK does not work but there is not a whole lot of service information out for it. Doing a search by the individual board numbers usually gets better results.
Are samsung main board’s interchangeable? i have Samsung 55 inch UE55MU6400UXZT. The screen number is Cy-KM055HGAV3H can I use different main board on it?
