My iBook G4 will not boot up. It doesnt chime. I took it to the Genius Bar and they said that it was the Logic Board so is it posible that it could be repaired from the info I get from this site. Please Help.
First unplug the AC charger and remove the battery then hold the start button down for 5 seconds. Plug it back in and try. Next hold down the command & option and P and R keys and hit the start button, wait till it tones three times. Try starting it up from the installation DVD. Insert the disk, hit the start button and finish pushing the disk in. Immediately hold down the “C” key. If this fails tell us what happened incuding any sounds or lights and we’ll go from there.
hi, my problem is that after 20-40 mins i get a message stating that you need to restart but it freeze up so the only thing you perform is shut down using the power button. took it to tekserve they said $350.00 plus tax , they are not going to fix it but send to apple. can it be ifixit?
