Is it possible to just replace the 30 pin female connector on my iPad without getting the entire assembly? Like if I bought this could I just replace the connector. http://www.ebay.com/itm/30-Pin-Female-Co… My assembly is fine just the pins on the connector are bent so I was hoping to save some money. TL:DR: Can you remove the 30 pin connector from the ribbon cable?
only if you have the skills and the tools of soldering 34 very fine points without making a mistake. If you do not have the tools and or the skills, I suggest that purchase the assembly.
