I have 2 apple watch series 1, one is a 38mm and the other is a 42mm. The 42mm is cloud locked.. can i swap the logic board i have in the 38mm to the 42mm?
No, the boards are different sizes.
Board removal is not recommended at all. Most all connections are soldered under the board and have very very little wiggle room.
