@cleaner you are not telling us what you have done to remove it. You need to remove the agitator by which is held on the shaft by a bolt under the top cap. Furthermore you need to remove the agitator cogs etc. Once all that is done, remove the agitator and you will find a spanner nut that needs to be removed.
