I replaced the battery in my HTC 1m9 and its charging but I can’t turn it on.
What do you see from the phone at the moment when you plug the charger in? You should see at least: An orange light at the top, a charging logo displayed at the middle, hopefully with a percentage sign under the battery as well. What was wrong with the phone before you replaced the battery? Was it draining too fast, not charging then you couldn’t get it to charge once it went flat?
Did you ever fix your phone? Same issue. Replaced bad battery and won’t turn on. Only get charging icon on screen when plugged in. Buttons on side won’t turn phone on. Assuming I fried the motherboard when changing battery
Same Issue: definitely charges, and the screen comes on, i cant test if volume up down or on switch are ‘working’ but I cant see any physical damage. Phone was draining fast and turning off near 15% full with old battery. new battery lights up the amber light, and the screen lights and displays the recharge rate when plugged in. Windows isnt recognizing phone, but I’m not sure if that is abnormal if it is plugged in and not turned on. I tried holding all 3 buttons but Im not seeing a change but I will try again whatever is suggested.
