I know they both use the same smaller camera but the plus uses another larger one. Can I put a small camera from an iphone 7 in the plus to test the logic board’s connection?
Different camera setup (dual) & cable connections so it won’t work
I have never taken apart an Iphone 7 or 7 plus, but looking at the compatibility listings here on IFixit, It doesn’t look like it would work out. If you have the parts already and want to try it, I would love to hear if it works or not, but I wouldn’t spend any extra money in my opinion. Best of luck though
I just checked it out. Camera from iPhone 7 in iPhone 7 Plus: Phone turn on normally.The camera does not work - Black screen. Both cameras from iPhone 7 Plus in iPhone 7: Phone doesn’t turn on. On both phones iOS 13.5. iPhone 7 Plus: (stupid tests) 1x camera on 2x connector: The phone turns on normally. The camera does not work - black screen, only 1x option is available. 2x camera on 1x connector: The phone turns on normally. The camera does not work - black screen, only 1x option is available.
